Turkish Citizens to Benefit from Turkish Lira Deposits Abroad
According to the official statement published in the official newspapers of Turkey, which provides for support for conversion to deposit accounts in Turkish lira, Turkish citizens living abroad will be able to transfer their foreign currency accounts to the Turkish lira.
According to this statement, the Central Bank of Turkey will authorize to determine the maximum interest rate that will be applied to the bank's deposit account and will also be able to set the interest rate on gold accounts.
Turkish citizens who transfer their accounts in dollars, euros and pounds to the Turkish lira will be able to benefit from the subsidy.
